Biography
Dr. JKS (Jeemon K Sam) Veettoor is assistant professor in MOSC Medical College Kolenchery. He is a General practitioner with special interests in Diabetes and Thyroid diseases. As a literary person he has written many stories and poems for various publications. He has many Lyrics writen for Dramas and feature films (sung by Sri. K.J. Jesudas for Cleopatra).
He has won Aasan Smaraka Kavitha Puraskaram (Poem), G. Sankarapilla Memorial Award (World Dramatic Study Center), Sargam Sahithya Award (Story), Balasahithya Award, Mary Vijayam Award (Poem), I.C. Chacko Award (Vijnana Sahithyam) etc. He was the best NSS Programme Officer 2016 (among all the Medical colleges in Kerala). He received the Special Recognition Award in 2019 for Energy Conservation and Environment Protection. He is Chief Editor of Sahithya Mithram Magazine and owner of Nakshatra Publications.
